Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Overview:


The bilingual call center rep will serve as the first point of contact for patients with billing or insurance-related inquiries. This role plays a vital part in guiding patients through the financial aspects of their care by providing clear, compassionate communication regarding medical bills, insurance coverage, and available financial resources. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Duties Include:

* Answer incoming phone calls from patients regarding billing and insurance

* Counsel patients on understanding medical bills, insurance benefits, and financial assistance programs

* Determine appropriate payment sources for services rendered

* Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, pharmaceutical representatives, and insurance companies

* Perform additional duties as assigned to support financial services operations

Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

* Bilingual in English and Spanish

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)

* Trustworthy, organized, and detail-oriented

* Ability to work comfortably in a hospital environment

* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Nice to Have:

* Previous call center experience

* Experience working with medical insurance or patient financial counseling
