Job Role: Activities Coordinator
In this exciting role, you will work with our care team, residents, relatives/friends, agencies, suppliers, and the community to provide high-quality activities that help maintain both physical and mental health. You will also create opportunities for residents to develop new interests and maintain current ones.
The position is for a schedule of 20 hours per week, spread over seven days, during daytime hours with alternate weekends off. You must be able to travel independently to the home, as it is not accessible by public transport.
About You
Are you a personable individual with strong organizational skills?
A good working knowledge of computers and the internet is highly desirable.
You should be an excellent communicator and planner, with a keen eye for detail. Your responsibilities will include designing annual activity plans, managing budgets, motivating the home and community to participate, and sharing stories about life in the home.
