Job Overview
As an IT Operations Technician at The Education Training Collective, you will provide front‑line IT support at your designated college site, ensuring the reliable, secure and efficient day‑to‑day operation of IT services for staff and students. You will also support and provide cover across other sites within the group when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Resolve routine technical issues for staff and students.
* Support classroom, desktop and mobile technologies.
* Deliver a responsive and professional support service in line with agreed service standards.
* Take ownership of support issues through to resolution and escalates where appropriate.
* Prioritise and manage competing demands while maintaining high quality user experience.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
* Good general education.
* Proven Tier 1 IT support capability (diagnosing and resolving hardware and software faults).
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
* Good attention to detail and clear communication with both technical and non‑technical users.
Desirable
* Experience in the education sector.
* Industry certifications such as A+, Network+ or MCP.
Training & Development
