Teaching Assistant Level 1
Salary: Actual salary £13,809-£14,026 based on 25 hours, 39 weeks per year
To start 1st September 2025 - Temporary until 31 March 2026 (Initially).
The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a dynamic, forward-thinking colleague to the post of Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will be required to support pupils in achieving their full potential at Cwmtawe Community School. Duties will include working with pupils aged 11-16, either individually or in small groups.
Applications are invited from prospective candidates with five or more GCSEs grade C or above, including Maths and English, or equivalent O levels or Vocational qualifications. Welsh language skills are not necessary.
Applicants must have good communication skills, together with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
