Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Economics
Reporting to the Associate Head of Resources, the lecturer will deliver lectures, classes, tutorials, and supervision, and will pursue advanced academic study in support of their teaching. They may also contribute to undergraduate tutorial teaching at a College of the University of Oxford.
The appointment is a permanent position until retirement age. The successful candidate must be available to start no later than the autumn of 2026.
The Department offers programmes at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching involves giving lectures, classes, and tutorials, with supervision provided in small groups or individually depending on the programme.
Responsibilities
* Provide lectures, classes, and tutorials.
* Supervise students in small groups or individually.
* Undertake advanced academic study to support teaching.
* Perform administrative tasks such as examinations, admissions, and participation in teaching‑related committees.
