Your Role as an Engineering Operative
As an Engineering Operative, you will support machining operations and work with heavy steel components, developing your skills in a busy engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with and operating heavy gantry milling machines
* Using overhead cranes to move large steel components
* Supporting machining and fabrication processes
* Reading basic engineering drawings
* Using measuring tools such as micrometres and verniers
* Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
* Following all health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
* Basic understanding of engineering or machining principles
* Engineering qualification or apprenticeship (preferred)
* Experience using micrometres and verniers (advantageous)
* Keen interest in engineering and manufacturing
* Willingness to learn and develop skills
* Reliable and hardworking attitude
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm (every other week)
