Engineer / Maintenance Engineer
Hours: 8-5pm Monday - Friday. (Overtime is available and optional)
Salary: £DOE + Annual Profit Bonus.

What You'll Do
As an Engineer, reporting to an Engineering Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various production machinery across multiple lines. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preventative Maintenance: Plan and execute maintenance activities to keep our machinery in top shape.
* Quality Checks: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on equipment to maintain high standards.
* Fault Diagnosis: Identify and diagnose equipment faults efficiently and accurately.
* Emergency Repairs: Carry out emergency repairs safely to minimise downtime.
* Procedure Development: Assist in creating and updating maintenance procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
* Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of faults, repairs, and testing for continuous improvement.
* Production Support: Help set up production lines and monitor inventory and order spare parts for reactive fixes as and when they occur.
* Collaborative Work: Work closely with Production and Account Managers to ensure seamless operations.
* Varied Duties: Take on other relevant tasks as requested, contributing to the overall success of the team.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
* Technical Knowledge: A solid general knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance is essential.
* Engineering Qualification: While an engineering qualification is desirable, it is not mandatory.
* Manufacturing Insight: A good understanding of manufacturing processes will give you an edge.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to tackle challenges and find effective solutions.Pressure Resilience: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
