Key responsibilities of the Global Publications Lead | Contractor | Pharmaceutical Company | Remote | Flexible Hourly Rate:
* Lead the development and execution of global strategic publication plans for products in the pipeline.
* Manage the end-to-end publication lifecycle including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and congress presentations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external experts to plan and deliver high-quality scientific communications.
* Ensure all publications meet industry guidelines and uphold the highest standards of scientific integrity, transparency, and ethics.
* Provide expert guidance on publication strategy, good publication practice, and regulatory compliance.
* Oversee timelines, budgets, and external vendors (e.g., medical writing agencies) to ensure efficient delivery.
* Maintain strong scientific expertise in the therapeutic area and monitor the competitive and research landscape.
* Measure the impact of publications to optimise engagement with scientific audiences.
* Contribute to improving scientific communications processes, systems, and best practices across the organisation.
* Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external authors to support effective scientific dissemination.

* CMPP Qualified (beneficial but not essential)
* Proven experience in a leading Global Publications role within pharma
