Control Systems Engineer
12-24 month contract (outside IR35)
We are looking for a Control Systems Engineer with proven experience in diesel / internal combustion engines to join our team, based on site in Peterborough five days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, calibrate, and integrate engine control systems
* Contribute to FMEAs and system-level risk assessments
* Plan, develop, and execute validation activities
* Integrate control systems with engine hardware, sensors, and actuators
* Support calibration, testing, and troubleshooting using HIL, dynamometer, and field test environments
Requirements:
* Hands-on experience with diesel / ICE control systems
* Willingness to be site-based 5 days per week
