For over 21 years, we've worked alongside families across Mid Ulster, helping parents nurture their children's development, health, and wellbeing. We are now looking for a Family Support Worker (PW2) to join our passionate, dedicated team. This is more than just a job - it's a chance to have a lasting impact on children and families in your community. About the Role As a Family Support Worker, you will:
1. Support parents and children through home visits and group programmes such as Nurturing, Incredible Years, Baby Massage, Baby Yoga, and Cook-it.
2. Help families strengthen relationships, build confidence and create positive play experiences.
3. Work with parents to set goals and celebrate progress, using tools like the Family Star Outcomes Tool.
4. Be part of a supportive team, working together to give every child the best start in life.
What We're Looking For We want to hear from people who are:
5. Qualified to Level 3 (or higher) in Childcare, Education, or related field.
6. Experienced in working directly with young children and families.
7. Confident in supporting parents and delivering group programmes.
8. Able to build warm, trusting relationships and handle challenges with care.
9. Full UK driving licence holders with access to a car.* As driving is an intrinsic part of this role, applicants with a disability that prevents them from driving should be able to demonstrate an alternative means of meeting the mobility requirements of the post
