Social Care Worker

Salary: £12.25 to £12.25 per hour
The role consists of shift work and weekend rota duties. Choice Care offers a number of flexible positions to suit personal commitments.
Overview of the role

Key duties
* Providing personal care – bathing, toileting, dressing, assistance with feeding
* Medication administration
* Assisting residents in daily activities, hobbies and outings
* Following care plan guidance alongside company policies and procedures
* Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
* Maintaining written daily records
* Attending and completing required training
Personal attributes
Patience, reliability, flexibility, teamwork, and good communication are key characteristics of a successful Social Care Worker.

Where will you work?
The role is based at Parkwood Lodge, a large detached home near Waterlooville, supporting individuals with mental health conditions and complex needs. The team provides 24‑hour residential support and day‑care services, promoting independence and wellbeing, supported by a Positive Behaviour Support team and an Activity Coordinator who arranges educational and recreational activities.
