Job Description:
Responsibilities
1. Lead activities related to new business development in the defined region, including identifying potential clients, developing and implementing work plans, monitoring progress, establishing performance measurements, tracking outcomes, and adjusting plans to meet sales targets.
2. Provide leadership and oversight of proposal development and explore opportunities for innovative business models to differentiate Asymchem from competitors.
3. Identify and implement differentiated BD mechanisms to achieve result-driven growth.
4. Work with existing clients to maintain relationships and understand long-term manufacturing strategies to ensure repeat business.
5. Participate in industry tradeshows, conferences, networking events, and client meetings to promote the company’s capabilities and expand brand awareness.
6. Serve as a key BD liaison with senior leadership during business issue management, creating appropriate solutions.
Education/Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Life Science fields; MBA, M.S., or PhD in related fields is a plus.
2. Over 5 years of business development/sales experience in CRO/CDMO, Pharma & Biotech services or related healthcare industries, with an existing customer network.
3. Advanced industry-related experience, understanding of markets, technologies, and products.
4. Experience with proposal development, business quotes, budgeting, and managing timelines.
5. Ability to adapt solutions for biotech organizations of varying sizes.
6. Management experience including hiring, training, and performance management.
