Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Midlands
Responsible To: Regional Sales Director
Main Purpose of Role: Promote a market-leading range of building products and exceed budgeted profit and sales targets.
Key Tasks:
Raise awareness, generate sales, and achieve agreed targets for the assigned product range.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
Maintain strong relationships within the merchant and distributor network, including national and independent businesses, as well as main and subcontractors.
Manage key accounts within the region.
Generate and follow up on project-related quotations and successfully convert them into orders.
Engage in specification sales and develop relationships with specifiers.
Carry out site surveys to assist with project conversions.
Specific Duties Include:
Increase brand awareness within the assigned geographical area.
Support and grow sales with existing stockists by creating business plans, sharing project information, and optimizing stock profiles.
