In this varied and fast paced Finance Assistant role, you will be reporting into a Transactional manager and covering duties that support both the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger.

Your duties in this role will include...
1. Payment Processing: Handle cash, cheques, BACS, and credit card payments, accurately recording them in our accounting system.
2. Cash Management: Maintain the cash float, including ordering change from Loomis as needed.
3. Credit Notes and Receipts: Allocate credit notes and cash receipts promptly to customer accounts.
4. Document Management: Scan and electronically file finance documents within our ADM system.
5. Transport Run Sheets: Maintain and reconcile daily transport run sheets.
6. Trade Counter Support: Assist with trade counter paperwork.
7. Incoming Calls: Manage the accounts inbox, handling incoming calls related to financial matters.
8. Supplier Invoices: Match, batch, and resolve queries related to supplier invoices, including coding.
