Position title : Product Manager Reports to: CEO Position summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Product Manager to play a pivotal role in our team within the medical device industry. The Product Manager will work closley with other key functions to set the Leo product features and maintain our product portfolio of radiotherapy and radiology products. This role would require travel to our US office and customers (approx. 25%). Key responsibilities Own the product vision and strategy, managing the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, finding ways to expand product market reach. Own the commercial viability of the product, working closely with sales and other teams to meet product margin, revenue and market share targets. Ensure the products and features are taken to market effectively and meet the business case. Own the Product Roadmap – working closely with sales, engineering and other teams to manage and facilitate trade-off decisions. Consult with and manage all product stakeholders to ensure that the Product Roadmap is understood and committed to. Work closely with Project Managers acting as a key stakeholder to ensure that product development projects have appropriate steer and sponsorship. Act as the single point of contact for all product decisions. Support sales bids. Facilitate customer/LCC trade-off decisions to ensure customer driven product development is aligned with the LCC brand and strategy. Monitor, understand and analyse market trends and the competitive landscape to inform product decisions. Own or support the preparation of various product and project documentation. Work with end customers and product users to inform product decisions. Champion the LCC products internally and at external events (e.g trade shows). Implement & continuously improve Product Management processes within LCC. Relevant Knowledge and Skill requirements: Significant experience (at least 5 yrs) as a Product Manager within the Oncology industry. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, as you will sit at the heart of many contributing peers and stakeholders. Proven experience to collaboratively develop product strategies and roadmaps. Understanding of Key financial metrics and measures. Willing and able to identify and support change and continuous improvement to processes and activities. A deep understanding of the process of product design, driven from Voice of Customer, User Needs and regulatory requirements. Creative ability to balance ideal product features with business demands, mapping those into a vision for product releases. Ability to understand complex technical issues sufficiently to be able to provide guidance on solutions, options and to be able to communicate to other stakeholders. Proven analytical skills and ability to make data driven decisions. Experience working in a regulated product environment. Knowledge of FDA regulations and international standards related releasing medical devices such as IEC 62366 and ISO 13485. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Degree (or equivalent) preferably in a technical or business-related subject. Flexibility to travel (approximately 20-30%) to our US office, tradeshows and customer sites. About Leo Cancer Care Cancer is one of the biggest killers that we face today with 1 in 5 people diagnosed at some point in their life, it is something that affects us all. 50% of all patients diagnosed with cancer should receive Radiation Therapy as part of their treatment but due to the cost, size and complexity of current technology, the number that do is around half of that. Current Radiation Therapy is delivered with a patient lay on a table while a large machine is rotated around them delivering radiation from different angles to kill the tumour. Lay on a table, many patients report that they feel like a passenger in their treatment feeling vulnerable through the entire process.
