Job Description
* Maintain driver/core staff rosters to ensure resource capability over a 24/7 period, including reactive and emergency response.
* Ensure the emergency response driving team maintains adequate staffing levels.
* Implement and deploy the Emergency Plan, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
* Allocate ESL transport assets to convoys for all deployments.
* Plan routes, including alternative routes and site locations, and assist with contingency planning.
* Act as a liaison between convoy commanders and the TLMP Liaison Officer (Customer appointed on shift).
* Maintain ongoing verbal communication with drivers during Adhoc Move Requests, supplementing Microlise updates.
* Ensure clear daily communication between shifts via the shift handover document, passing critical information to the Team Leader and Contract Manager.
* Assist at the drivers/debrief counter for EDF movements as required.
* Respond to customer requests for movement or inquiries, escalating as necessary; calculate transport costs and submit for approval; request drivers and tractor units; advise the Forecast Team.
* Perform administrative tasks, including weekly hours, vehicle mileage, and KPI reporting.
* Provide out-of-hours support to Eventor Drivers, liaising with Customer Services, assisting with tyre call-outs, breakdowns, and updating GTS.
* Assist with tracking Formula 1 trucks during the season as needed.
* Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure safety for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
* Report health and safety breaches, accidents, incidents, or near-misses immediately and assist with investigations.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
* Knowledge of WTD and EU Drivers Hours regulations.
* Experience with GTS and Microlise applications.
* Good customer service skills.
