What you'll bring to the team
As a Team Leader you will be allocated a selection of units from our on park offering, and be expected to have the ability to divide your time between them, observing service and feeding back to the team, coaching where needed whilst also driving sales through new ideas, stock control and incentives.
As part of this role, you will also be required to take on the role of Retail 1, our daily duty manager position. This means you will be the face of the department and should have the knowledge and information required to support the wider park operation on that day. Confidence in presenting back to a room of duty managers is key
Alongside responsibility for the units, you will be supported by Senior Hosts, who will assist in the the day to day running of each unit, allowing you to focus on audits and checking our expected standards are being met. With their support, and your focus on creating a welcoming, supportive and positive place to work you can help to create incredible experiences for both our guests and the team you work with
Qualifications & Experience
* People management experience, with an interest in training and development would be desired
* Able to have honest and open conversations with members of the team who require additional support
* Strong communication and personal presentation skills, this role will involve communication with other departments and senior management
* Sound understanding of basic IT programs (namely Microsoft packages including Teams). Additional training will be provided when using specialised software
* A reasonable level of numeracy and literacy is required
* Ability to effectively drive sales and incentives is important to this role
* Previous retail & sales experience would be beneficial, however full training will be given on the job
* Food Hygiene (Level 2) is provided during the induction process of this role
