This is a Specialist grade post, for the PHW microbiology service to the Hywel Dda University Health Board. In this role you will join the expanding clinical infection team delivering services to Hywel Dda University Health Board and supporting the wider Public Health Wales network. The post holder is managerially accountable to the Executive Director of Health Protection and Screening Services, Public Health Wales Trust, through the Director of Infection Services and the Clinical Lead of the Infection Services to Hywel Dda University Health Board. Applicants will be ideally expected to be Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists and/or Member of the Royal College of Physicians. Applicants shall • have full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council and shall have completed a minimum of 12 years medical work (either continuous period or in aggregate) since obtaining a primary medical qualification of which a minimum of six years should have been in an Infectious disease or microbiology specialty in the Specialty Doctor and/or closed SAS grades.
