The advertised salary is based on full-time hours (35 hours per week, 52 weeks). Part-time or sessional posts are pro-rated accordingly.
Hourly rate of pay: £17.04 - £18.45
This is a 39-week sessional post, working during school term time plus in-service days.
Working hours: Monday - Thursday, 08:15-15:15; Friday, 08:15-12:45. Start date: 11th August 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join the new Blindwells nursery. We seek someone motivated to deliver high-quality early years care and support nursery development.
The role involves working as an effective member of an early years team, delivering a high-quality, child-centred service that meets the needs of children and families.

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications:
Educated to HNC level in Early Education and Childcare or holding SNNB/HNC/SVQ3 qualifications in Childcare/Education or equivalent. Evidence of ongoing learning and knowledge of current practice and legislation in Early Learning and Childcare is required.
SSSC Registration:
SSSC registration is mandatory. If not already registered, you must apply within 3 months of starting, to ensure registration within 6 months.
PVG Membership:
This role is considered regulated with vulnerable groups, requiring PVG Scheme membership or update prior to employment offer. Records are regularly updated, and disclosures are discussed and investigated before formal offers.
Overseas Criminal Record Check:
If you have lived or worked outside the UK for more than 3 months in the last 5 years, you must provide an overseas criminal record check. Details are available on GOV.UK.
