Job Description:
It's not every day we have a chance to make the world a healthier place—but here, it’s our way of life. Idealistic? Maybe. Deeply pragmatic? Always. Real Chemistry is a global health innovation company that operates at the intersection of healthcare, marketing, communications, tech, and the people at the heart of it all. We work with health and wellness companies to create and inspire healthier, happier, and longer lives. We are looking to add to our team of over 2,000 talented professionals.
Job Summary:
As a Senior Account Manager, you will act as the primary day-to-day client contact, managing relationships and overseeing the delivery of several medium to large projects. You will be responsible for managing the execution of multiple projects and coaching junior team members, ensuring effective delivery alongside the account lead or sponsor.
You should have a clear understanding of the overall programme, not just your projects, and be involved in strategic planning and financial management. Developing your leadership skills to manage both upwards and downwards is essential.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the main client contact, providing updates, managing expectations, and communicating project plans.
* Develop objectives and strategies for new work, ensuring alignment with programme strategy.
* Lead large projects with minimal support, taking full accountability from start to finish.
* Provide counsel and challenge clients when necessary, managing challenging conversations effectively.
* Support your account lead in addressing programme and team challenges.
* Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and confidently propose new ideas.
* Participate in new business initiatives, including producing credentials and managing team and external resources.
Team Management:
* Develop your leadership style and motivate your team daily.
* Mentor junior team members and support their performance reviews.
* Support hiring processes for new team members.
* Manage budgets for client programmes and ensure resource tracking.
* Assist in financial management tasks like invoicing and forecasting.
* Complete timesheets and expense claims accurately and participate in internal initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in data communication and document development.
* Problem-solving skills with a strong work ethic and track record of high-quality deliverables.
* Experience mentoring junior team members.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Note: The company has a flexible hybrid working policy, with some office attendance required for those near office locations. Be aware of scams misusing the company's name; do not share personal or financial information with unverified sources.
