Double Days (6am – 2pm Mon – Fri) (2pm – 12am Mon – Thurs) – No Friday Afternoons

About the Position
We are looking for a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias (roughly 60:40), to join our small team of four long‑standing maintenance engineers at our manufacturing site in Leicester. We are market leaders in our industry with an annual turnover in excess of £2.2 billion. This is an opportunity to work in a stable industry with the most established player in their sector whilst maintaining a healthy company culture and family‑owned feel.
Role and Responsibilities
Your role and responsibilities will include but not be limited to carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on 3 assembly lines, test and calibration equipment, air tools, spindles, assembly jigs, conveyors, both overhead cranes and jib cranes.
The Successful Engineer
* Multi‑skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias, ideally 60:40 split mech/elec
* Qualified ideally to NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3; Level 2 applicants are encouraged where there is evidence of experience
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding
* Previous experience in manufacturing beneficial but not a dealbreaker
* Attitude to get stuck in
