You’ll also be a central figure in the annual budgeting process and provide strategic financial insight across the business. Key Responsibilities Support the Commercial Finance Director in budgetary compliance and identifying cost-saving opportunities Provide financial guidance to Heads of Shared Service departments, ensuring strong financial understanding and performance Produce and analyse monthly central cost reporting packs and forecasts Collaborate on strategic projects and initiatives Lead the annual budget process alongside the Commercial Finance Director and BUFCs Ensure reporting deadlines are met and results are accurately recorded Assist with financial due diligence for acquisitions and post-acquisition integration Investigate underlying trends and variances to support data-driven decisions Undertake additional duties in line with the role as required About You Essential: Qualified Accountant 1–2 years’ experience in a similar multi-site finance role Strong commercial acumen and understanding of market context Skills & Competencies Proven track record of meeting reporting and analysis deadlines Experience working with external stakeholders in commercial negotiations Ability to collaborate effectively with non-financial managers Strong Excel skills and solid systems knowledge Flexible, proactive, and a strong team player Desirable: Experience within the Health & Social Care sector, ideally Children’s Services Knowledge of Coldharbour financials If you’re a commercially minded finance professional looking for a dynamic role with real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
