Job Description
We are seeking a full stack software engineer with hands-on experience in application development to contribute to transformational projects within our Forensics divisions in the UK and Europe. As part of our team, you will collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners to design and implement technical solutions aligned with our product roadmap.
This role is remote, with flexibility to attend meetups in Birmingham and Tamworth as needed.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Understanding and maintaining your software, including debugging and fixing issues
* Participating in iteration planning and estimation
* Enhancing your development skills and knowledge
* Managing pull requests and contributing to technical decisions
* Maintaining team documentation and wikis
What you will be doing
* Developing front-end SPA applications with Blazor
* Building .NET Core API with C#
* Utilizing Entity Framework for data access
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have experience in the full software development lifecycle within an agile environment, including story estimation, planning, and backlog grooming. Technical skills should include building scalable, well-documented APIs and SPA frameworks. Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, GIT, and SQL Server is essential.
Desirable Skills
* Continuous Integration and Deployment with Azure DevOps
* Experience with Hangfire, RabbitMQ, MongoDB
* Test Driven Development and Unit Testing
Additional Information
Security clearance is required due to the sensitive nature of the work. Applicants must have five years of continuous UK residency. Details about the clearance process can be found at Warwickshire Police. Successful applicants will undergo drug and alcohol testing.
