A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and compassionate veterinary surgeon to join a well-established, award-wining independent small animal practice with 3 branches in the beautiful Tyne valley.
Orchard House Veterinary Centres have being serving the Tynedale area for over 25 years. Our three branches are located in Hexham, Stocksfield and Bellingham.
Our close knit and long-standing team support each other through thick and thin, whilst having a good laugh along the way. Our clients are welcoming to new faces and have a great relationship with the old faces (figuratively, not literally).
We are a friendly, local practice committed to caring for our patients, owners and our staff. We pride ourselves on our exceptional, high quality, modern medicine and surgery. We have ultrasound, dental and x-ray facilities; laboratory and pharmacy and offer laparoscopic and ophthalmic surgery.
Our Team
Our strong and experienced 7-vet team sees a varied caseload of surgical and medical cases, including Laparoscopic surgery. We are a progressive practice with a generous CPD allowance and encourage our team to gain as much experience as possible.
We have a long-standing nursing team here at Orchard who are ready to support you and provide endless supplies of cuppas, cakes and biscuits Across the branches, we also have a twelve strong support team ready to tackle the day with you. The Role
* Part time (full time considered)
* Experienced in first-opinion practice
* Confident with consults and routine surgeries
* Strong communication and client care skills
* Out of hours on call from 6pm – 10pm one evening per week (same weeknight every week) plus one weekend in 6
* Hold a full driving licence
