Role Summary
* Lead the strategic direction, development, and implementation of the bank's payment systems and technologies, ensuring they are innovative, secure, and efficient, aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
* As the Product Owner for our Payments product, responsible for creating best-in-class payment functionality and platform to deliver optimal outcomes for customers.
* Leverage deep understanding of business and engineering capabilities to own the product roadmap for payments solutions.
* Manage features, product requirements, and prioritize the backlog, with exposure to senior management and significant responsibilities.
* Drive the evolution of payments applications in line with business growth and expansion.

Position Description
* Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to improve the current route to live for payment systems.
* Work with multi-regional teams to adopt new payment technologies and enhance existing systems for better customer experiences.
* Ensure technology provides operational resilience and disaster recovery capabilities against threats such as cybercrime and data breaches.
* Lead a team of fewer than 10 SME resources.
* Drive IT innovation and technology direction.
* Strengthen IT governance and manage risk and compliance effectively.
* Own the delivery of new payment features and improvements to existing ones.
* Manage change initiatives and project progress aligned with strategic goals.
* Translate product features and business needs into well-defined requirements, including epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
* Communicate clearly the impacts of changes to system users.
* Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog, balancing stakeholder requirements.
