We are seeking to appoint suitably skilled and motivated people to work with children and young people in a Wakefield MDC Children’s Home on a casual/ relief basis. Clarence Children’s Home in Wakefield provides full time care for children.
You will hold a NVQ 3/ Diploma 3 or equivalent in Caring for Children and Young People or be willing to work to achieve this qualification following appointment. Satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check will be required. Effective supervision, induction, and training are provided to all staff.
The work involves shift patterns, including weekends, nights and Bank Holidays. You should be committed to improving the life chances of the children and young people we look after.
