We now have an opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our People Team on a 12-month contract. As a HR Advisor you will support managers and employees across the business on a full range of employee relations matters, with a strong focus on casework you will ensure that cases are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment law, organisational policy and best practice
.
Duties will include, but not be limited to the followin
* g:Management and coordination of employee relation activity, providing appropriate advice and guidance to managers to assist resolving people issues in a timely manne
* r.Subject matter expert in all areas of HR policy and procedure, and confident in its application within investigation meetings, disciplinary and grievance hearing
* s.Ensuring legalisation, policy and ACAS best practise are followe
* d.Responsible for assessing whether an employee needs to be referred to Occupational Health, facilitation of the referral and coaching and supporting both the business and employee in relation to the recommendation
* s.Administration and coordination of casework records and track
* erSupport and undertake policy review adapting HR best practice to ensure policies and practices are fit for purpose, comply with employment law and are successfully implement
* edIdentify where guidance is required to support or in place of company poli
* cyWork in partnership with the senior management team with regards to the people agenda, working to achieve the business objective
s.
To do this role well you will ne
* ed:Proven work history as a HR Advi
* sorIdeally possessing CIPD level 5 or equivalent experie
* nceDemonstratable ability to manage and resolve employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance cas
* es.Proven ability to coach and support managers in performance management, absence, disciplinary, and grievance process
* es.Expertise in applying HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment law and best practic
* es.Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships with employees, managers, and trade unio
* ns.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environme
* nt.Previous experience of creating, reviewing, and implementing HR policies, ensuring that they are compliant with employment law and best practic
* es.Experience in assessing the need for Occupational Health referrals and supporting the implementation of recommendatio
ns.
