Location: Old Colwyn, Conwy.
Hours per Week: 7 hours on Saturdays plus additional hours as required.
Rate of Pay: £14.80 per hour.

About the Person
I am a 15-year-old boy with autism and developmental delay. I am non-verbal, so observation skills and patience are essential.

* Is trustworthy, kind, punctual, and reliable.
* Is patient and supportive with good listening skills and can provide non‑judgmental emotional support.
* Maintains confidentiality and respects privacy; prohibited use of social media in relation to the job role.
* Can work flexibly, adapting to variable requirements.
Responsibilities
* Provide encouragement and support in relation to interests and hobbies, such as indoor play areas; encourage accessing and exploring new and suitable activities.
* Help with communication via gestures, ensuring needs are met.
* Accompany when using public transport; a bus pass will be provided.
* Prepare light snacks as required, observing food hygiene and specific dietary requirements.
* Support with changing clothing when required.
* Assist with personal hygiene, toileting.
* Encourage physical and emotional development and feelings of social inclusion.
* Always carry a mobile phone, kept charged and in credit.
* Ensure consideration of Health & Safety.
* Undertake any other duties discussed and agreed; undertake any further training if required.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
* Required to have worked with and have experience with autism.
* Role is dependent upon a DBS and two references.
* Proof of Right to Work in the UK required (no sponsorship offered).
