Job summary
In this role you will be�part of a�Training Delivery Team, with a focus on delivering high quality training events (both online and in-person) - at workplace locations and on our open-access courses - covering employment law, good practice, and good line management skills.
It also involves business development work - following up of leads and dealing with online, helpline and Customer Service Team referrals to generate interest in our products and services.
There is a strong emphasis on building customer relations.
The Training Delivery Team members are supportive and share knowledge, skills and advice amongst each other - which is a real team strength.
1. To undertake business development activities, including identification and follow up of opportunities to raise Acas' profile and increase its reach and impact.
2. To contribute to the improvement of employment relations and good employment practice: by providing a range of business support interventions to organisations, including advice on the development of policies and procedures.
3. To collaborate in designing and adapting training materials for raising the standards of line manager skills in workplaces and meeting the needs of employers, employees, and their representatives.
4. To contribute to Acas� operational and financial objectives by delivering appropriate training activities.
While the office is based in Mildenhall, you�ll be often travelling to workplaces in Cambridge, Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Beds, Herts (but no more than 2-3 times a week) - when not working from home (digital delivery and administrative work).

Main Accountabilities:
5. Accountable for delivering - either digitally (using platforms such as Zoom and Teams) or at various locations in the region - Acas open access courses, workplace training, chargeable and non-chargeable talks, and Acas Webinars.
6. To contribute to the wider Acas mission of improving employment relations by identifying opportunities (including networking), to raise awareness of Acas, and promote other Acas services where appropriate.
7. To self-manage effectively, including time, work priorities and administrative tasks - contributing to the overall strategy and planning of the Training Delivery Team.
8. Responding to referrals within the SLA timeframe.
9. Support in suggesting and creating training content material, in collaboration with the Product Development Team.
10. Ensuring that all contractual paperwork is completed for all chargeable work activity.
11. Systems Records - accountable for ensuring all relevant systems are updated with accurate data in a timely manner.
12. Supporting the wider Training Delivery Team by ensuring delegate feedback is captured appropriately.
13. Identifying potential case study opportunities (in line with GDPR) to support internal learning, good practice sharing, continuous improvement, and marketing opportunities.

Essential criteria:�
14. Successfully delivered high quality outcomes that met customers� needs and good value (Lead).

17. Ensuring colleagues and/or stakeholders have a clear understanding of objectives, activities, and timeframes.

19. Good communication skills (verbal and written).
20. Competent with using Zoom and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that you hold a full UK Driving Licence
