Driver Hire Basingstoke & Newbury is seeking a dedicated Class 2 Driver to join our team and work with a highly reputable client based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. If you’re passionate about driving and delivering top-quality service, this could be the perfect role for you.
The Role:
1. Position: Class 2 Driver
2. Contract: Temporary (Casual Days/Hours)
3. Start Time: Varies
4. Working Days: Monday to Friday (Occasional Weekend Working available)
5. Shift Length: 8 – 10 hours per day (Dependant on the client)
6. Responsibilities: You will also be responsible for the start and finish checks of the vehicle, highlighting any issues to the site team as required. You will also be responsible for completing worked assigned by the client, whether that maybe deliveries, collections, etc.
What You Need:
7. Licence: Full UK driving licence, with less than 6 points
8. Certifications: You must have a valid CPC Driver Card, along with a valid Digital Tacho card.
9. Experience: Ideally, at least 1 years driving experience in the class of vehicle being used.
10. Skills: Excellent timekeeping and strong customer service abilities, as you will be the face of both the company, and of Driver Hire
11. Transport: Must have your own transport for commuting to work
