How will you do it
As part of Prime projects team, you will:
11. Review the project specification and designs and identify any commissioning issues
12. Work to the commissioning requirements and report any need to deviate from the existing design. Co-operate with the M&E commissioning engineers on site.
13. Liaise closely with the project manager to highlight any operational problems
14. Use safe systems of working and pay particular attention to the Electricity at Work Regulations, Health and Safety Regulations
15. Develop software programs, Graphics, commission and troubleshoot to ensure proper operations of the building control system
16. Coordinate and create necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation
17. Select materials for assigned projects
18. Load and commission system and network-level controllers
19. Validate complete system functionality and troubleshoot problems with subcontractors
20. Manage and complete the loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as required.
21. Keep current accurate records of commissioning progress
What we look for:
Required
22. 2+ years of experience in BMS Control systems
23. HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or to related field
24. Previous experience in creating/updating BMS software and graphics
25. Good working knowledge of BMS Industry standards protocols
26. Good communication skills, both written and verbal
27. Industry standard H&S certification
28. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
29. Good computer literacy (MS Office; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
30. A passion for leading change within the team and become a role model amongst peers
31. Ability to work alone and when necessary, within a larger design team
32. Full clean UK Driving License
Preferred:
33. Professional Certifications/Diploma within the related field
34. Working knowledge of Metasys systems
35. Ability to Install BMS servers / workstations
