Our client is a multinational insurance brokerage with a growing transactional liability and private capital advisory business. They are now seeking an individual to lead their Risk Advisory and Insurance Due Diligence team across the UK and Ireland.
About the Role
This senior role involves leading the delivery of insurance due diligence and portfolio risk advisory services for private equity, infrastructure, and corporate M&A clients. The successful candidate will manage a team of project managers, drive operational excellence, and support the growth of the wider Private Capital & M&A practice.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing due diligence team.
* Oversee project allocation, workflow management, and overall team operations.
* Maintain clear oversight of team financials and fee frameworks.
* Build and manage strong relationships with investor clients.
* Deliver due diligence findings through reports, calls, and meetings.
* Assess target company insurance programmes and identify key risks.
* Support portfolio‑level risk analysis and collaborate with specialist teams as needed.
* Identify opportunities to cross‑sell additional services across the business.
* Drive improvements in reporting quality, operational efficiency, and process design.
* Contribute to the adoption of AI‑enabled tools and enhancements to the due diligence process.
Qualifications
* Exposure to private equity, private capital, or M&A transactions.
* Technical insurance experience gained within an insurer or broker environment.
* Proven leadership and people‑management capability.
* Knowledge of global insurance programmes and portfolio structures.
Required Skills
We are seeking candidates with strong technical insurance experience and familiarity with transactional environments, gained within insurance broking or advisory roles.
