Role Description
This is a full-time role and will be mainly based in the office (10 miles from Scarborough). Please only apply to this role if you currently live within 50 miles of the office.
I am seeking a junior trader/logistics team member to join a new business. There will be equity available in the business for the right candidate. It would be great if you have some market knowledge, but if you want to get into commodity/grain/organics trading, then this would be an ideal step, as full training will be given.
As a junior trader, you will be responsible for trading a variety of commodities, analysing commodity markets, managing risk and developing new sales channels. The role will involve executing trades and managing the logistical side (liaising with hauliers/stores). This will quickly build up to managing your book of business and looking for new markets.
Pay will depend upon the level of experience, and there is also a company bonus scheme.
Qualifications
* Some Trading and Agricultural Commodity Markets is essential
* Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential
* Willingness to learn about new markets and opportunities is essential
* Driving License is essential
* Wanting to join a small and growing team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
