The Role As an English Teacher, you will:
* Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 4 and 5
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that challenge and inspire students
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and academically ambitious classroom environment
* Support small class sizes, allowing for personalised teaching and meaningful feedback
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities where appropriate
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative department that values high standards, creativity, and professional development.
The Ideal Candidate We are seeking a teacher who:
* Holds a degree in English or a related subject
* Has QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for English
* Has strong classroom management and communication skills
* Is committed to high academic standards and pastoral care
Experience within an independent or high-performing school environment is desirable but not essential.
