Chemistry Technician (Suitable for Life Science Graduates) Location - Oxfordshire Salary - £25,000 - £26,000 Contract – Permanent Hours – Monday – Friday 40 hours a week Our client is a leading pharmaceutical CRO based in Oxfordshire who are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join their expanding pharmaceutical operative team. This position is best suited to those who have an interest in life sciences; candidates with existing warehouse/lab experience; or those who have recently graduated with a life science degree (Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology etc). The Role Full training is provided for this position, so don’t worry if you do not have experience in the responsibilities! As a Chemistry Technician, you will be responsible for: * Supporting the product of chemicals on a pilot plant producing batches of up to 150kg. * Weighing out raw materials for production. * Stock checking and inventory management, consumable ordering. * Routine and preventative maintenance of pilot plant equipment (reactors, vacuum pumps, filtration systems, dryers, scrubbers, heaters etc). * Filling out of forms relating to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) including Batch documentation records, COSHH forms etc. * This will be done whilst adhering to GMP, following company procedures to maintain the high safety standards.
