Delighted to be recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a well-established and fast-paced manufacturing business based in Hull. This is a key role within the finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller, and offering great exposure across operations and commercial finance.
Responsibilities:
* Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting analysis
* Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting
* Partnering with operational teams to understand cost drivers and performance
* Supporting stock and inventory accounting processes
* Maintaining and improving financial controls and reporting accuracy
* Assisting with year-end audit and statutory reporting
* Providing insight to support strategic decision-making
Requirements:
* Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
* Experience in manufacturing or product-based environments preferred
* Strong Excel and analytical skills
* Confident communicator with a proactive mindset
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
