Overview
We're looking for a talented Design Management Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure business at an exciting time of growth and innovation.
The successful candidate will hold a BEng or MEng, ideally approaching Chartered status, and will be based primarily at the Head Office near Glasgow with site work as needed.
Responsibilities
* Support design and build tender activity, develop cost-effective engineering solutions, and manage the design process from inception through delivery.
* Collaborate with consulting engineers and engage with Public Utilities, Local Authorities, and statutory bodies, ensuring that decisions have a direct impact on project success and the company's performance.
* Contribute to high professional standards and technical excellence as part of a team where around 70% of the engineering workforce are Chartered.
* Work on impactful projects including windfarms, battery energy storage facilities, substations and associated civils works, within the broader context of civil infrastructure and the UK energy transition.
