Solicitor – Court of Protection (4–8 PQE)

Harkaye Core Talent is working with a well-established UK law firm seeking a Solicitor to join their Court of Protection team in London.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and rewarding matters, supporting individuals who lack the capacity to manage their own financial affairs. You will join a supportive team handling a broad range of Court of Protection matters involving property and financial affairs.

The Role
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of Court of Protection property and affairs matters, working closely with senior lawyers and deputies to support vulnerable clients.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing matters involving Deputyships and Trusts
* Assisting with the administration of significant personal injury and clinical negligence settlements
* Preparing Court of Protection applications, including statutory wills
* Attending and chairing annual client review meetings
* Managing property purchases, adaptations and related financial matters
* Liaising with families, care providers, case managers and other professionals
* Supervising or working alongside paralegals and junior team members
* Supporting client relationship management and ongoing client care
About You
The firm is seeking a solicitor who is:
* Experienced in Court of Protection property and affairs work
* Comfortable managing their own caseload
* A strong communicator who can work sensitively with vulnerable clients and families
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Experience working with clients affected by serious injury or medical conditions would be beneficial, though not essential.
