This role involves planning and implementing residents' activities, helping the Lifestyle Manager organize events, and supporting residents to socialize confidently. You'll develop activity ideas based on residents’ hobbies and involve the care home team, always with kindness at the forefront.
We are looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes. Creativity, love for music, and confidence to run group and 1-2-1 activities such as art, knitting, storytelling, bingo, sports, and musical activities are essential.
Beyond that, your positive energy and ability to connect with people are crucial. You should have strong planning, organizational, IT, and basic photography skills, and be able to manage your time effectively. When communicating with residents or colleagues, kindness and consideration are vital.
What you will be doing:
* Support residents to live life to the fullest.
