RAC are on the lookout for an experienced HR Administrator to join our talented, friendly, and fast-paced HR Service team.
As an HR Administrator at RAC, you'll be integral to supporting the business, line managers, and employees in all things HR and play an important part in the full employee lifecycle. You'll be involved in a wide range of HR aspects including onboarding, payroll, reward and benefits, as well as general HR admin.
This position is a hybrid role with two days in the office and three days working from home.
Accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Produce contracts / offers of employment, enabling a seamless transition into the business, and providing relevant documentation for contract adjustments.
2. Ensure documents produced have been checked and validated for quality.
3. Initiate and track pre-employment screening via third parties, ensuring that all checks are completed within FCA guidelines and legal requirements.
4. Assist with the collation of data for the monthly payroll, querying anomalies and missing data.
5. Monthly checking and validating payroll documents, providing clear instructions to the payroll provider.
6. Provide timely day-to-day advice to line managers and employees on general HR-related queries.
7. Support the annual processing of P11Ds, including queries regarding the application of tax.
8. Handle day-to-day administration within the employee lifecycle, including statutory payments and deductions.
9. Update the HR/Payroll System with required information for payment and business reporting requirements.
What you will need
The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus with a drive to deliver high-quality service to all areas of the business. The RAC is a fast-paced, diverse organization and will require you to work well under pressured deadlines with excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and time management skills. A natural problem solver who can communicate confidently and comfortably.
You will be able to demonstrate strong computer skills across the full range of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and mail merge, along with prior experience of HR and payroll systems.
