Our client, a prominent firm specialising in water industry projects, is currently seeking a Project Manager to take the helm on Thames Water - AMP8 Works in Slough based out of Horton. This permanent position is a remarkable opportunity for someone with a background in civil engineering looking to make a significant impact in the water sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning through to execution and completion
Overseeing the AMP8 works and ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget
Coordinating with various stakeholders, including Thames Water and internal teams, to ensure smooth project operation
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Monitoring project progress and implementing modifications as necessary to meet project goals
Providing regular reports on project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders
Managing project budgets and financial plans
Mentoring and providing guidance to junior staff members
Job Requirements:
Experience in project management within the civil engineering sector, particularly in water industry projects
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Excellent leadership and team management skills
