The Team: Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management is crucial to Pinsent Masons. Here at Pinsent Masons, our General Counsels Office ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and adhered to. The General Counselâs Office consists of sub-teams specialising in different regulatory requirements, and we are based across the UK, Europe, Asia Pac, Middle East and Australia. Each team supports their own time zones, which includes public holidays. To maintain team morale and dynamic, the team have a structure in place whereby we work from the office two days one week, and one day the following week. The team overall deal with different queries and questions on a day-to-day basis. The role would entail ensuring the team are well supported with their administrative tasks and that the queries from the business are also answered in a timely manner where appropriate. The ideal candidates must be enthusiastic, motivated, service driven, flexible and have an eye for detail. The Role: As outlined briefly above, the purpose of this role is to provide an effective and efficient administrative service to the GCO team. This will involve ensuring that day-to-day tasks are completed in a timely manner. The role entails carrying out administrative tasks as part of the file opening process, triaging queries to relevant teams within the GCO team. There should be an ability to answer any ad-hoc process queries which come in to help support the business needs where necessary. The role also includes the management, creation and removal of information barriers. Information Barriers are crucial in maintaining client confidentiality and potential conflicts within the firm. We must ensure matters are locked down as requested (i.e. ensure that these barriers are actioned/applied accordingly). The role requires sending out the team weekly rotas and help with any straightforward matters that come in to help our dedicated conflicts and AML team where necessary. Candidate Overview: The most important skills you will need is excellent administration and communication skills, an eye for detail and highly motivated.
