Job Title: Sprinkler Fitter
Location: Glasgow covering whole of Scotland
Emtec Fire Systems part of the Sauter group of companies is a leading sprinkler installation and maintenance company, providing high-quality, innovative solutions across the UK. We are dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of fire safety and compliance in all our projects.
We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for delivering clean, compliant, and consistent installations to a high standard.
This is a performance driven role where you’ll be expected to take ownership of your work, stay productive, and deliver quality results with minimal supervision.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Install sprinkler systems, pipework, supports, heads, and valves, to a high standard
* Work from drawings and instructions with accuracy and attention to detail
* Make sure installations are level, aligned, leak-free, and meet required specs
* Keep your work area clean, organised, and safe
* Plan ahead and flag material shortages or clashes early to avoid delays
* Check your own work to ensure top quality and reduce rework
* Follow all safety procedures, wear the correct PPE, and work to RAMS
* Use tools and equipment safely and correctly
* Support your team and communicate clearly with Foremen to keep things moving
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience installing sprinkler systems
* Confident reading drawings and using tools and equipment
* A proactive, detail-focused approach with pride in snag-free work
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Strong communication and a positive, can-do attitude
* Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
* Valid CSCS card
Bonus if you have
* Level 2 Fire Sprinkler Installation qualification
