The Role
*
Teach Biology at KS3, KS4 and, for suitably experienced candidates, KS5
*
Inspire students with practical investigations, contemporary science issues, and fieldwork
*
Contribute to a wider Science team that includes outreach work with local universities and STEM partners
*
Support the development of curriculum resources and the implementation of assessment strategies
*
Encourage students to pursue further education in sciences, including Oxbridge and Russell Group pathways
Person Specification
*
Degree in Biology or a related discipline and QTS
*
Experience teaching secondary Biology; A-level desirable but not essential
*
A reflective practitioner committed to professional development
*
Strong subject knowledge and passion for life sciences
*
Ability to promote scientific curiosity and analytical thinking in all learners
