A respected Groundworks contractor based near Fareham is searching for a Document Controller to join the business.
The company has been operating for over 20 years and has built up a strong reputation within the residential sector. They undertake major groundworks projects for developers which include the construction of roads, sewers, deep drainage, enabling works, hard landscaping, foundations and infrastructure works.
The business has plans to steadily grow and are happy to consider either a construction administrator who is looking to step up or an existing Document Controller to join the business.
As Document Controller, you will be office-based working alongside the project team to ensure the timely and smooth running of all projects
Main Responsibilities
1. Coordinate all activities related to the document control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
2. Input document data into standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
3. Make sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.
