An established and progressive accountancy practice is looking to appoint two Audit Managers to support the ongoing growth of its Not-for-Profit audit division. This is an opportunity to take on a pivotal role in a team that supports impactful clients across the charity and education sectors, while also offering a clear and structured path toward future progression.
These newly created roles would suit experienced professionals with a strong background in not-for-profit audit, particularly in sectors such as charities, academies, independent schools, and other regulated public benefit entities.

What You’ll Be Doing
Managing a portfolio of NFP clients and leading audits from planning through to completion
Delivering high-quality, SORP-compliant assurance work across multiple assignments
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and trustees
Guiding audit teams throughout the fieldwork and reporting phases
Reviewing work and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards
Supporting the growth and development of junior staff through coaching and training
Managing job budgets, WIP, billing and team utilisation
Supporting internal initiatives and methodology improvements
Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge across FRS 102, SORP and UK audit regulations
What They’re Looking For
A minimum of 5 years’ audit experience, with at least 3 years in the UK
Strong exposure to charity and/or academy trust clients
Proven ability to manage audits from planning to sign-off
Sound understanding of SORP, FRS 102 and UK auditing standards
Strong communicator who can build lasting client relationships
Confident managing, supporting and motivating audit teams
CaseWare experience is an advantage but not essential
