Job Description
1. Negotiation of contracts and implementation and communication for one or multiple plants in the region
2. Creation of savings, potential, synergies
3. Driving improvement processes
4. Securing delivery quantities
5. Supplier communication
6. Internal and external correspondence for the area of responsibility, close communication with SCM, SD, R&D and Quality Department
7. Supporting group-wide communication of market-relevant information
8. Supporting global lead buyers with background information (trends)
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years Buying / Purchasing experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
Completing a range of tasks with different degrees of difficulty within agreed timescales.
Organising and prioritise a varied workload with minimum amount of supervision.
Respecting confidentiality.
Additional Information
Good GCSE's and ideally A Levels or equivalent.
Buying qualification desirable .
Computer literacy (MS Office).
Interpersonal skills and verbal / non-verbal communication skills.
Time management and organizational skills.
Negotiation and facilitation.
