What the job involves As a Social Worker in the Children Looked After, Court and Leaving Care Service, you will undertake and manage care proceedings and associated court work. You will assess the needs and circumstances of children in corporate care, undertake statutory duties, develop and review robust care plans that support their safety, stability, and development. You will advocate for children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights upheld in all decision-making processes. Working collaboratively with families, carers, schools, health professionals, and partner agencies, you will provide coordinated and effective support. Additionally, you will promote placement stability, permanency planning, and successful transitions to independence and adulthood.
