Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coach junior kitchen staff, ensuring their personal development
* Deputise for the Assistant Kitchen Manager in their absence
* Manage food costs through effective ordering, stock, and portion control
* Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality
Hours of Work:
Working straight shifts, contracted to 150 hours per 4-week period with flexible scheduling, including public holidays and special occasions like Christmas and New Year.
Requirements:
* Previous kitchen experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to build relationships with colleagues
* Professional, approachable, and calm under pressure
* Experience with ordering and stock control
