Role & Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students, providing individual and group support tailored to their specific needs. You will assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, creating a positive learning environment, and celebrating student successes. You will be a key member of the team, contributing to the overall well-being and academic progress of the students.
Main tasks include
* Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons
* Providing individual and group support to students with SEN
* Creating and implementing engaging learning activities
* Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
* Building positive relationships with students and their families
* Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
* Proven experience supporting young people with SEN
* Experience working in a school setting (desirable)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Commitment to inclusive education
* A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle
* Enhanced DBS check (will be processed upon offer)
* Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
* Passion for making a difference in the lives of young people
